WINTER WEATHER CHALLENGES

From the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services: Winter weather with ice, snow, and cold (sometimes of an extreme nature) can present safety challenges for all Ohioans. Those in treatment for psychiatric and substance-related conditions, and the staff who care for them, can benefit from reminders about the hazards of winter weather, suggestions for avoiding winter weather-related complications, and information on how to address winter weather-related health conditions, should they develop.
