Thinking About Therapy?

Let’s Talk About Cost.

If you’ve been putting off therapy because you’re worried about money, you’re not alone.

A lot of the people we talk to have the same questions: Will Medicaid cover this? What if I don’t have insurance? What will this actually cost me?

Here’s the most important thing to know:

We will not turn you away because you can’t afford to pay.

At Anazao, we believe everyone deserves access to care. We work hard to make that possible for families across Wayne and Holmes County.

If You Have Medicaid

At Anazao, we accept all Medicaid programs. For most covered services, your cost is $0. We bill Medicaid directly, so you don’t have to manage that process yourself.

Just bring your Medicaid card to your first appointment. If your Medicaid coverage ever changes or ends, we’ll explain what that means and talk through your options. No surprises. If you’re on Medicaid, click here for more information.

Not sure about your coverage? Call us at 330-264-9597. We’ll help you figure it out.

If You Have Private Insurance

We accept private insurance too. Here’s how it works:

  • We bill your insurance first.
  • You’re responsible for any copays, deductibles, or services your plan doesn’t cover.
  • You can still apply for financial assistance if you qualify.

Bring your insurance card to your first appointment, and we’ll walk you through the rest.

If You Don’t Have Insurance

You can still come.

We use something called a sliding fee scale, which simply means your cost is based on your income and the size of your household.

Some people pay a reduced rate. Some qualify for very low-cost services. In certain cases, services may cost nothing at all.

Before you start, we’ll explain your fee clearly. You’ll know what to expect.

How the Sliding Fee Scale Works

It’s pretty straightforward:

1.

We look at how many people are in your household.

2.

We look at your total household income.

3.

We compare that to federal guidelines.

4.

You’re assigned a discount for each session.

For example:

  • Standard session cost: $115.35
  • If your assigned rate is 30%
  • You would pay $34.61

Your information is confidential. It’s only used to help reduce your cost. To qualify for locally funded assistance, you must live in Wayne or Holmes County.

What You’ll Need to Bring

To apply for reduced fees, we’re required to verify income. This isn’t about judgment — it’s how we access funding to help you.

Bring one of the following for each working adult in your household:

  • Employed (W-2): Two recent pay stubs or a W-2
  • Self-employed: Most recent Federal Tax Return (Form 1040)
  • Retired: Social Security award letter or bank statement showing deposit
  • Receiving SSI/SSDI or other benefits: Award letter
  • Receiving child support: Court order or recent payment record

Not sure what applies to you? Call us before your appointment. We’re happy to walk you through it.
